A remarkable and totally original example of a 19.5/8 Polyphon 104.An early one (8th Feb 1898) with the sand cast style bed plate, with that distinctive and beautifully soft silver tone sound coming from a pair of probably the nicest condition combs we’ve seen .Apart from addressing a little damper issue to ensure she’s playing at her best, we have not touched her, she’s as found, original finish, fantastic colour, not a hint of rust. There are a couple of knocks on the very top side moulding, we’ve left them purposely so she remains virtually ‘as found’
